The SunGold Power 10KW 48V Split Phase Solar Inverter is the largest model in SunGold's SPH all-in-one series. It combines a 10000 watt pure sine wave inverter with 120/240V split phase output, two MPPT solar charge controllers with 11000 watts of PV input, and a 120 amp grid and generator charger in one UL1741-certified, wall-mounted unit.
Solar charging reaches 200 amps into a 48V battery bank, and up to six units can be paralleled for as much as 60kW. SunGold notes the system gives solar top priority for charging and loads, then draws on the grid or a generator when solar and battery power are not available.
The inverter delivers 10000 watts of continuous split phase power with a 20000 watt peak and a 6HP motor loading capacity, enough to start large pumps and compressors.
Two trackers accept a combined 11000 watts, up to 500VDC open circuit, with a 125 to 425VDC operating range and 22 amps per tracker. MPPT tracking efficiency is rated at 99.9 percent, and battery inverter efficiency at up to 92 percent.
Solar charging reaches 200 amps, grid or generator charging reaches 120 amps, and maximum hybrid charging is 200 amps for fast recharging of large lithium banks.
Typical switching time is 10ms. Output can be split phase or single phase, and paralleled units can provide split phase or 208V three phase power.
Six units in parallel can deliver up to 60kW. A parallel communication cable is included.
SunGold configures this model with Wi-Fi components for app-based monitoring, along with RS485, CAN, USB, and dry contact interfaces.
