This off-grid kit, SGR-10K20E, pairs a 10000W 48V split-phase solar inverter with 12 x 450W bifacial N-type solar panels and 4 x SG48100P 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO4 server rack batteries in an enclosed battery cabinet. The breakers, battery cables, PV extension cable and panel mounting Z-brackets are included.
It is designed for remote homes, backup power and small off-grid projects. The inverter supplies 120V and 240V loads, charges from solar, the grid or a generator, and can grow with your needs to 6 units in parallel.
The SPH10048P inverter is rated 10000W with a 20000W peak and a 6HP motor load capacity, at 120/240V split phase or 120V single phase. Its pure sine wave output and 10 ms typical switch time keep household appliances, pumps and tools running. It is certified UL 1741 by ETL for off-grid solar systems.
The inverter has 2 MPPT trackers with up to 11000W of PV array power, 22A per input, a 500Vdc maximum open-circuit voltage and 99.9% tracking efficiency. It charges the batteries at up to 200A from solar, or 120A from the grid or a generator. In this kit the 12 panels run as one series string through a 25A PV breaker, which leaves PV capacity to add panels later.
The 450W SGN-450-BDG5 panels are N-type bifacial dual glass modules with 22.5% module efficiency. SunGold says the rear side can add up to 30% more energy. They are UL 61730 certified by ETL and CEC Listed, rated for 5400 Pa snow load and 2400 Pa wind load, and carry a 30-year linear power warranty.
Four SG48100P batteries store 5.12kWh each, for 20.48kWh in total. Each battery has a 100A BMS, an LCD display and a rated life of at least 7000 cycles at 80% DOD. The batteries are certified to UL 1973 and tested to UL 9540A, and they mount together in the included enclosed battery cabinet.
Four charging modes cover hybrid, utility priority, solar priority and solar-only charging, and four output modes set how solar, battery and grid share the load. Time-slot charging and discharging lets you plan around peak and off-peak rates. The inverter talks to SunGold batteries over CAN and RS485, and it can wake a deeply discharged battery from the grid or PV.

A monofacial panel collects light only from the front. These bifacial panels also turn reflected light on the back glass into power, so ground mounts and tilted racks can gain extra output.
The inverter is IP20 rated for indoor use only, between 14°F and 131°F with derating above 113°F. It weighs 54 lb and measures 17.9 x 26 x 5.1 inches. The SG48100P batteries are IP20 rated as well, so plan an indoor space for the cabinet. A qualified electrician should install the system following SunGold's wiring diagram.
The inverter accepts up to 11000W of PV, so the 5400W array can grow. SG48100P batteries support up to 63 units in parallel, and up to 6 inverters can run in parallel for 60kW of output.
