The SunGold Power 10kW 48VDC Off-Grid Solar Kit (SGR-10K2M) is a complete off-grid solar kit built around two 5000W all-in-one inverters (SPH5048P) running in parallel. It includes 12 x 450W monocrystalline solar panels for 5,400W of solar, 4 x 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO4 server rack batteries (SG48100P) for 20.48kWh of storage, and the breakers, cables, and mounting hardware SunGold lists for the system.
Two 5000W inverters run in parallel for 10kW of 120/240V split-phase power, which SunGold says is enough to run air conditioners, well pumps, refrigerators, and workshop equipment. Four 5.12kWh server rack batteries provide 20.48kWh of storage.
The SPH5048P is a 5000W all-in-one inverter with a built-in 100A MPPT solar charge controller and AC charger. It delivers 120VAC pure sine wave output with up to 10,000VA of peak power, accepts up to 5,500W of solar at up to 500V open circuit, and supports optional Wi-Fi monitoring through an app. The kit includes two units for 10kW of combined output.
Each SG48100P is a 51.2V, 100Ah (5.12kWh) lithium iron phosphate battery in a 3U server rack format. SunGold rates it for 7,000 or more cycles at 80% depth of discharge with a 15-year design life, and it communicates with the inverter over RS485 or CAN. It is certified to UL1973 and is rated IP20 for indoor installation. Four batteries combine for 20.48kWh of storage.
The 450W monocrystalline PERC panels (SG450WM) use 120 half-cut cells, carry UL61730 certification and CEC listing, and are rated for 2,400Pa wind and 5,400Pa snow loads. SunGold backs them with a 12-year material and workmanship warranty and a 25-year power output warranty. At four peak sun hours, the 12-panel array produces about 21.6kWh per day. Actual output depends on location, season, tilt, and shading.
The inverters have built-in MPPT solar charging, so the panels connect directly to the inverters without a separate charge controller. That keeps wiring simpler and reduces the number of components to mount.
SunGold includes DC and PV breakers, battery and inverter cables, 50-foot solar extension cables, Z-brackets for mounting the panels, and a busbar, all sized for this kit. SunGold also publishes a wiring diagram for the kit on its website. Having matched protection and cabling in the box saves sourcing time and helps keep the installation consistent.
Up to six identical SPH5048P inverters can run in parallel for single-phase 120V, split-phase 120/240V, or three-phase 208V output. SunGold lists up to 32 SG48100P batteries in parallel, so storage can grow with your needs. Add panels within the inverter solar input limits as your energy use grows.
