The SunGold Power 12KW 48V All-In-One Hybrid Solar Inverter (SGS-12K18MAX) brings solar, 48V battery storage, and grid power together in one outdoor-rated unit. A 200 amp continuous grid pass-through lets it carry an entire home's circuits during normal operation and keep them running from solar and batteries during an outage.

Each unit supports up to 18kW of PV input across two MPPT trackers, and up to six units can be paralleled for as much as 72kW. Output is 120/240V split phase or 120/208V three phase, and SunGold lists it as compatible with its 48V lithium batteries and other storage. It can run on-grid, off-grid, or in hybrid mode, including exporting excess solar to the grid.

12000 Watts Split Phase, 200 Amp Pass-Through

Rated output is 12000 watts at 240V split phase or 10400 watts at 208V three phase, with a 6HP motor load capacity and peak power of 1.5 times rated for 10 seconds. The 200A continuous grid pass-through allows whole-home backup configurations.

18kW of PV Input on Two MPPT Trackers

Two MPPT trackers accept 9000 watts each, up to 550VDC open circuit, with a 125 to 450VDC MPPT range and 32 amps of input current per tracker. MPPT tracking efficiency is 99.9 percent.

Up to 240 Amps of Hybrid Battery Charging

The inverter charges a 48V battery bank at up to 200 amps from the grid or a generator and up to 240 amps in hybrid mode. It supports lithium-ion, lead acid, and user-defined battery settings.

Parallel Up to Six Units

Six units in parallel can deliver up to 72kW for larger homes, farms, and small businesses. A parallel communication cable is included.

Outdoor-Rated and Fully Protected

An IP65 enclosure allows outdoor installation from -25°C to 60°C. Built-in protection includes AFCI, rapid shutdown, ground fault monitoring, reverse polarity protection, and leakage current monitoring.

SunGold lists UL1741 SB, UL1699B, IEEE 1547, California Rule 21, and CSA C22.2 certifications. Maximum efficiency is 97.5 percent and CEC efficiency is 96.5 percent.
