The SunGold Power 13kW 48VDC Off-Grid Solar Kit (SGR-13K25S) is a complete off-grid solar kit built around two 6500W split-phase all-in-one inverters (SPH6548P) running in parallel. It includes 20 x 450W bifacial N-type monocrystalline solar panels for 9,000W of solar, 5 x 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO4 server rack batteries (SG48100P) for 25.6kWh of storage, and the breakers, cables, and mounting hardware SunGold lists for the system.
Two 6.5kW inverters in parallel provide 13kW of split-phase output, which SunGold says is enough for air conditioners, well pumps, refrigerators, and workshops. Five server rack batteries in an enclosed cabinet provide 25.6kWh of storage.
The SPH6548P is a 6500W all-in-one inverter with 120/240VAC split-phase pure sine wave output and 13,000VA of peak power. Two built-in MPPT channels accept up to 5,000W of solar each, and the unit charges batteries from solar, the grid, or a generator at up to 140A combined. It is certified to UL1741 and includes Wi-Fi monitoring. The kit includes two units for 13kW of combined output.
Each SG48100P is a 51.2V, 100Ah (5.12kWh) lithium iron phosphate battery in a 3U server rack format. SunGold rates it for 7,000 or more cycles at 80% depth of discharge with a 15-year design life, and it communicates with the inverter over RS485 or CAN. It is certified to UL1973 and is rated IP20 for indoor installation. Five batteries combine for 25.6kWh of storage, housed in the included enclosed battery cabinet.
The 450W bifacial N-type panels (SGN-450-BDG5) use 96 N-type monocrystalline cells and can collect reflected light from the rear side when mounted with open space behind them. Each panel is UL61730 and CEC listed and carries a 12-year material and workmanship warranty with a 30-year linear power warranty. At four peak sun hours, the 20-panel array produces about 36kWh per day. Actual output depends on location, season, tilt, and shading.
The inverters have built-in MPPT solar charging, so the panels connect directly to the inverters without a separate charge controller. That keeps wiring simpler and reduces the number of components to mount.
SunGold includes DC and PV breakers, battery and inverter cables, 50-foot solar extension cables, and Z-brackets for mounting the panels, all sized for this kit. SunGold also publishes a wiring diagram for the kit on its website. Having matched protection and cabling in the box saves sourcing time and helps keep the installation consistent.
Up to six SPH6548P inverters can be paralleled as your loads grow. SunGold lists up to 32 SG48100P batteries in parallel, so storage can grow with your needs. Add panels within the inverter solar input limits as your energy use grows.
