The SunGold Power 20kW 48VDC Off-Grid Solar Kit (SGR-20K30E) is a complete off-grid solar kit built around two 10kW split-phase all-in-one inverters (SPH10048P) running in parallel. It includes 32 x 450W bifacial N-type monocrystalline solar panels for 14,400W of solar, 6 x 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO4 server rack batteries (SG48100P) for 30.72kWh of storage, and the breakers, cables, and mounting hardware SunGold lists for the system.
Two 10kW inverters in parallel provide 20kW of 120/240V split-phase output for high-demand appliances such as air conditioners, well pumps, refrigerators, and power tools. Six SG48100P batteries in an enclosed cabinet provide 30.72kWh of storage.
The SPH10048P is a 10,000W all-in-one inverter with 120/240VAC split-phase pure sine wave output, 20,000W of peak power, and a 6 HP motor loading rating. Two MPPT trackers accept up to 11,000W of solar, and the inverter charges batteries at up to 200A from solar or 120A from the grid or a generator. It is certified to UL1741 and includes Wi-Fi monitoring. The kit includes two units for 20kW of combined output.
Each SG48100P is a 51.2V, 100Ah (5.12kWh) lithium iron phosphate battery in a 3U server rack format. SunGold rates it for 7,000 or more cycles at 80% depth of discharge with a 15-year design life, and it communicates with the inverter over RS485 or CAN. It is certified to UL1973 and is rated IP20 for indoor installation. Six batteries combine for 30.72kWh of storage, housed in the included enclosed battery cabinet.
The 450W bifacial N-type panels (SGN-450-BDG5) use 96 N-type monocrystalline cells and can collect reflected light from the rear side when mounted with open space behind them. Each panel is UL61730 and CEC listed and carries a 12-year material and workmanship warranty with a 30-year linear power warranty. At four peak sun hours, the 32-panel array produces about 57.6kWh per day. Actual output depends on location, season, tilt, and shading.
The inverters have built-in MPPT solar charging, so the panels connect directly to the inverters without a separate charge controller. That keeps wiring simpler and reduces the number of components to mount.
SunGold includes DC and PV breakers, battery and inverter cables, 50-foot solar extension cables, and Z-brackets for mounting the panels, all sized for this kit. SunGold also publishes a wiring diagram for the kit on its website. Having matched protection and cabling in the box saves sourcing time and helps keep the installation consistent.
Up to six SPH10048P inverters can be paralleled for more output. SunGold lists up to 32 SG48100P batteries in parallel, so storage can grow with your needs. Add panels within the inverter solar input limits as your energy use grows.
