This 12V backup kit suits RVs, vans, small cabins, and emergency power for essentials. It is offered with two 12V 100Ah batteries (2.56kWh) or two 12V 200Ah batteries (5.12kWh).
The LFP3K12V120VSG is a 3000W low-frequency inverter charger for 12V systems. It provides 120VAC pure sine wave output with a 9,000W surge rating for 20 seconds, a 90A AC charger, and selectable charging for 9 battery types. A separate 60A MPPT controller in the kit handles solar charging.
The kit ships with two 12V 100Ah (2.56kWh) or two 12V 200Ah (5.12kWh) LiFePO4 batteries with Bluetooth. Each battery has an LCD display, Bluetooth monitoring through the SGP Battery app, self-heating for cold-weather charging, an IP65 case, and a 4,000-plus cycle rating. SunGold backs the batteries with a 5-year warranty.
The 100W monocrystalline panels (SG-100WM) use 33 cells with 22.8% cell efficiency and measure 38.19 x 21.26 inches at about 13 pounds each, so they fit small roofs and tight spaces. SunGold lists a 5-year materials and workmanship warranty and a 25-year limited power output warranty. At four peak sun hours, the 6-panel array produces about 2.4kWh per day. Actual output depends on location, season, tilt, and shading.
The SGC482560A MPPT controller charges the 12V battery bank at up to 60A, accepts up to 250V open circuit from the array, and handles up to 800W of solar on a 12V system. Built-in Bluetooth lets you monitor charging from a phone app.
SunGold includes a DC breaker, battery and inverter cables, 50-foot solar extension cables, and Z-brackets for mounting the panels, all sized for this kit. SunGold also publishes a wiring diagram for the kit on its website. Having matched protection and cabling in the box saves sourcing time and helps keep the installation consistent.
