The SunGold Power 4000W DC 12V Split Phase Pure Sine Wave Inverter With Charger is a low frequency inverter charger that produces split phase 120/240 volt pure sine wave power from a 12 volt battery bank. It provides two 120 volt legs, so it can feed a standard 120/240V panel and run both 120 volt loads and 240 volt appliances.
Like the rest of SunGold's LFP series, it combines an inverter, a battery charger, and an automatic transfer switch. It accepts 240VAC from the grid or a generator, passes that power through to your loads, and recharges your batteries at up to 120 amps.

Split Phase 120V and 240V Output
Two 120V legs make this inverter suitable for small homes, cabins, and businesses with a 120/240V electrical panel. You can run 120V lighting and outlets alongside 240V equipment such as well pumps, provided the total load stays within the inverter's rating.
4000 Watts Continuous and 12000 Watts Surge
The low frequency transformer supports a 12000 watt surge for 20 seconds, giving motor loads the startup power they need while 4000 watts continuous covers steady use.
120 Amp Battery Charger
With 240VAC input present, the built-in 3-step charger delivers up to 120 amps (±5A). Nine battery type settings and an adjustable 0 to 100 percent charge current let you set it up for lithium, AGM, gel, or flooded batteries.
Automatic Transfer and Wide Input Range
Typical transfer time is 10ms. The AC input range can be set to 140 to 270VAC or 184 to 253VAC with SW2, which helps when running from a generator whose voltage varies.
AC or Battery Priority and Generator Start
Choose AC priority for backup or battery priority (SW5) for solar-charged systems. The inverter can automatically start and stop a compatible generator based on battery voltage.
LCD Display, Remote Control, and BTS Cable
SunGold includes a remote control and battery temperature sensor cable. Power saver mode reduces idle draw from 45 watts to 18 watts, and output frequency can be set to 50 or 60Hz with SW4.

Versus grid-tie or stackable systems. SunGold notes this unit cannot be stacked and cannot run on the same grid with other inverters, such as microinverters.

The Jackery was my first power station. I had a lot to learn and much research to do. Outbound Power was easy to work with, they answered the phone and helped with the delivery. This is the first power station I have owned. I chose the Anker Solix c1000 gen 2 because it had great reviews and was the size I wanted. I live in central California and fortunately we do not have a lot of power outages. With winter coming, I decided to prepare just in case. Ordering the product was easy and Outbound Power had the best price.
The only issue I had was registering the product. Anker provided a QR code which is pretty standard. However, I had to call Outbound Power to get a working link. The gal I spoke to at Outbound seemed surprised I had to call.
