The SunGold Power 5.12kWh Powerwall LiFePO4 Lithium Battery is a 51.2V, 100Ah wall-mounted battery (model SG48100M) for 48V energy storage systems. It comes with a wall bracket, expansion bolts and cables, and it has an LCD display on the front so you can check battery status at a glance.

It suits homeowners who want to store solar energy and raise their self-consumption, as well as small commercial and industrial systems. The battery is UL1973 certified, rated for 7000 or more cycles, and can be paralleled with up to 63 units for 322.56kWh of total capacity.

Wall-Mounted Design

The battery hangs on the included wall bracket with M10 expansion bolts. Keeping storage on the wall leaves the floor clear around your system.

7000+ Cycles and 15-Year Design Life

The pack is rated for at least 7000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, with a 15-year design life. SunGold backs it with a 10-year warranty.

Intelligent BMS

The BMS monitors cell voltage, current and temperature. It protects against overcharge, deep discharge, overloading, overheating and short circuits, which helps extend battery life. A 20A charging current limit function is built in.

Scale Up to 63 Batteries

The modular design lets you start with one battery and add more later. Up to 63 batteries can run in parallel, each set to its own address with DIP switches, for up to 322.56kWh.

RS232, RS485 and CAN Communication

The battery supports multiple protocols over RS232, RS485 and CAN. SunGold lists compatibility with most inverters on the market, such as Growatt, Deye, SunGoldPower, Luxpower, Victron Energy, Schneider, Phocos and SMK.

LCD Smart Display

An English smart display on the front panel shows battery information. RUN, ALM and SOC indicator lights show running status, alarms and state of charge.

• Location. The battery box is IP20 rated. Keep it out of rain and direct sunlight, and away from heat sources.
• Wall. The wall must support about 114.6lbs per battery.
• Temperature. Charging from 32°F to 113°F, discharging from -4°F to 140°F.
• Batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries, or other battery types, in the same bank.

How Many Batteries Can I Connect in Parallel?

Up to 63. Each battery gets a unique hardware address set with its DIP switches, from 1 to 63.

What State of Charge Range Should I Use?

The battery can work from 0 to 100%, but SunGold recommends 20% to 95% for daily use.

How Should I Store the Battery?

Store it at 20% to 40% state of charge in a clean, dry, ventilated room, raised at least 100MM off the ground. Charge it every 3 months at 0.2 to 0.5C for 30 to 60 minutes.

What Wakes the Battery From Sleep?

Connect a charger with an output above 48V, press the button for 3 seconds, or connect the communication line and open the host software.
