The SunGold Power 6kW 24VDC Off-Grid Solar Kit (SGK-PRO62) pairs a 6000W low-frequency split phase inverter charger with six 370W mono black panels, a separate 100A MPPT solar charge controller and four 24V 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries. Wired in parallel, the batteries store 10.24kWh at 24V, and the inverter delivers both 120V and 240V output.

6000W Low-Frequency Split Phase Inverter

The LFP6K24V240VSP combines a 6000W pure sine wave inverter, a battery charger and an AC auto-transfer switch in one unit. It is rated for an 18000W surge for 20 seconds, which gives motor loads room to start. Each 120V leg carries up to 3000W, and 240V loads can use the full 6000W.

Dedicated 100A MPPT Charge Controller

Solar charging runs through the SGC4825100A controller, not the inverter. On a 24V system it accepts up to 2640W of panels and up to 250V open circuit. The six panels run as one series string, so the 2220W array fits inside that limit. A built-in Bluetooth module lets you check charging from a phone app.

Four Self-Heating 24V Lithium Batteries

Each 25.6V 100Ah battery holds 2560Wh and has a 100A BMS, an LCD and Bluetooth monitoring. Below 33.8°F the batteries warm themselves and stop heating at 42.8°F, so they stay ready to charge in cold weather. The cases are IP65 rated, and each battery is rated for at least 4000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge.

Mono Black 370W Panels

The SG370WM panels use 182mm mono half-cells in an all-black design, with 20.31% module efficiency. IP68 junction boxes and load ratings of 5400Pa for snow and 2400Pa for wind suit year-round outdoor mounting.

90A Charging From Grid or Generator

The built-in three-stage charger refills the bank at up to 90A from a 240V grid or generator input. You can set the charge current from off to 100% and pick from nine battery type settings.

Automatic Generator Start

The inverter can start a generator when battery voltage runs low and shut it off once charging is finished. It runs in AC priority by default, and a switch sets battery priority if you would rather use stored solar first.

How It Compares to Common Alternatives

Versus an all-in-one solar inverter. Here the inverter and solar controller are separate units. The low-frequency inverter handles AC loads and charging, while the MPPT controller handles the panels on its own.

Does the Inverter Provide Both 120V and 240V?

Yes. Split phase output gives you two 120V legs. Each leg carries up to 3000W, and a 240V load can draw the full 6000W.

How Do the Panels Connect?

The six panels run in series through the 25A PV breaker to the 100A MPPT controller, which charges the battery bank. The inverter then draws from the batteries through the 300A breaker.

Will the Batteries Charge in Freezing Weather?

Each battery has a self-heating function that turns on below 33.8°F and turns off at 42.8°F, which helps it accept a charge in cold conditions.

Can I Watch the System From My Phone?

Yes. The MPPT controller and each battery have Bluetooth, so you can check solar charging and battery status from a mobile app.
