SunGold sizes this kit for mid-sized off-grid homes and remote cabins. The low-frequency inverter supports auto generator start and powers most 120V and 240V household appliances, while four 12V 200Ah batteries provide 10.24kWh of storage.
The LFP6K48V240VSPL is a 6000W low-frequency inverter charger certified to UL1741. It provides 120/240VAC split-phase pure sine wave output with an 18,000W surge rating for 20 seconds, a 60A AC charger, and selectable charging for 9 battery types. A separate 100A MPPT controller in the kit handles solar charging.
Each LFP12-200A is a 12.8V, 200Ah (2.56kWh) LiFePO4 battery with a 200A BMS, an LCD display, Bluetooth monitoring through the SGP Battery app, and self-heating that switches on below about 34°F. The IP65 case and 4,000-plus cycle rating make it a durable choice, and SunGold backs it with a 5-year warranty. Four batteries combine for 10.24kWh of storage.
The 370W monocrystalline PERC panels (SG370WM) use 120 half-cut 182mm cells, carry UL61730 certification, and are rated for 2,400Pa wind and 5,400Pa snow loads. SunGold backs them with a 12-year material and workmanship warranty and a 25-year power output warranty. At four peak sun hours, the 6-panel array produces about 8.9kWh per day. Actual output depends on location, season, tilt, and shading.
The SGC4825100A MPPT controller charges 12V to 48V battery banks at up to 100A, accepts up to 250V open circuit from the array, and handles up to 5,280W of solar on a 48V system. Built-in Bluetooth lets you monitor charging from a phone app.
SunGold includes DC and PV breakers, battery and inverter cables, 50-foot solar extension cables, Z-brackets for mounting the panels, and a busbar, all sized for this kit. SunGold also publishes a wiring diagram for the kit on its website. Having matched protection and cabling in the box saves sourcing time and helps keep the installation consistent.
