The SunGold Power CoreX 5 Pro Server Rack Battery Delivers 5.12kWh of 48V Storage With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Monitoring
The SunGold Power CoreX 5 Pro Server Rack 48V 100AH Residential Energy Storage Battery Pack is a 51.2V, 5.12kWh LiFePO4 battery designed for home energy storage. Its rack-mount format fits standard server racks and SunGold's battery brackets, and SunGold lists Wi-Fi and Bluetooth monitoring for real-time and historical data.
The CoreX 5 Pro communicates with compatible inverters over CAN or RS485, and up to 15 packs can be connected in parallel for larger systems. SunGold includes the CoreX 5 Pro in its 12kW, 15kW, and 18kW off-grid solar kits.

5.12kWh at 51.2V
A 1P16S configuration of LiFePO4 cells provides 100Ah at 51.2V, for 5.12kWh of rated energy and a 43.2V to 56.8V operating range.
95A Max Charge and 100A Max Discharge
The standard charge and discharge current is 50A, with up to 95A of charging and 100A of discharging. A charging current limit function is enabled by default and steps charging down to 20A when charging current reaches 90A or more.
Inverter Communication
Dedicated RS485 and CAN ports connect to compatible inverters, with separate RS485 ports for parallel communication between packs. An RS232 port and dry contact are also provided.
Parallel Up to 15 Packs
Packs connect in a daisy chain for communication. SunGold notes a different parallel wiring method is required when the system's maximum current exceeds 100A.
Monitoring and Indicators
Six SOC LEDs plus power, run, and alarm indicators show battery status at a glance, and SunGold lists Wi-Fi and Bluetooth monitoring for this model. A built-in breaker and reset button are on the front panel.

How Should Packs Be Stored Before Installation?
SunGold recommends storage between -4°F and 113°F for up to one month, or 32°F to 95°F for up to one year, at under 60 percent relative humidity without condensation.
How Do I Check That a Pack Is Working Before Installing It?
Press the power button and confirm the LED indicators show normal status, then press it again to power off. Also check that terminals and communication ports are clean and the cables are undamaged.
What Is the Charging Current Limit?
The limit is on by default and drops charging to 20A if charging current reaches 90A or more. With the limit disabled, charge over-current protection triggers at 96A.
