The SunGold Power Powerwall X 51.2V 200AH Lithium Battery (model SG48200T) is a 10.24kWh LiFePO4 battery for home and commercial energy storage. It charges from solar during the day and stores that energy for nights, blackouts and emergencies.
It is built for homeowners and installers who want a large block of storage in one cabinet. An LCD touch-screen panel shows battery status, the intelligent BMS protects the cells, and CAN and RS485 ports connect to most hybrid inverters. Up to 32 units can be connected in parallel for 328kWh.
One battery stores 10.24kWh at 51.2V and 200Ah, with 9.84kWh usable. It supports up to 96% depth of discharge in off-grid and backup systems, so most of that energy reaches your loads.
SunGold rates the battery for over 8000 deep cycles and a 15-year lifespan. It carries a 10-year warranty, with free technical support before and after purchase.
Standard charge and discharge current is up to 100A. Maximum charge current is 140A and maximum discharge current is 200A, with a peak of 240A to 300A for 15 seconds. That supports larger inverters from a single battery.
The touch-screen panel shows state of charge, current and voltage in real time. An IOT port connects the battery to cloud platforms, and Wi-Fi monitoring is available as an option.
CAN and RS485 communication works with most inverters on the market, including Growatt, Deye, SunGoldPower, Luxpower, Victron Energy, Schneider, EG4, Sol-Ark, Mppsolar and Megarevo.
Up to 32 batteries can be connected in parallel. Automatic dynamic addressing sets up each battery in the chain, and a built-in pre-charge circuit limits rush current when the bank connects to an inverter.
A rapid shutdown function is built in for the North American market. The battery holds UL1973 and UL9540A certifications.

Versus two 5.12kWh batteries. One 10.24kWh battery gives you the same storage with one set of cables, one display and one unit to mount. Smaller batteries are lighter to handle, but you install and connect twice as many.
Versus a server rack battery. A rack battery needs a rack or cabinet. The SG48200T stands on the floor, anchored with the included floor-to-wall brackets, or hangs on the wall with the optional wall-mount kit.
Versus a lead-acid battery bank. This battery adds a built-in BMS, inverter communication and a touch-screen display, with over 8000 rated cycles.
