The AIMS Power 48V 200A Industrial Grade Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery packs 200 amp hours at 48 volts, about 10.2 kWh of energy, into a single industrial deep cycle battery. Built for systems that need large amounts of power at 48 volts, it can replace multiple battery banks and the cables that connect them. AIMS Power says it delivers large amounts of power at half the weight of other battery technologies, with up to 8 times more cycles and no memory problems. A built-in Battery Management System, automatic cell balancing, and RS485 and CAN monitoring make it a smart, low-maintenance core for 48 volt solar, backup, and industrial installations.
AIMS Power rates this battery at 3500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge and 6000 cycles at 60% depth of discharge.
Higher system voltage means lower current for the same power, which helps reduce cable size and losses in large inverter and solar systems. The battery is designed to deliver high output current for inverters.
The Battery Management System maintains voltage, current, and temperature, enables faster charging and efficient discharging, and protects against short circuits, overcharge, over-discharge, and low voltage with automatic shutdown. Temperature protection and reverse polarity protection add additional safeguards.
Automatic cell balancing preserves individual cell integrity, and the battery requires almost no maintenance.
A front LED shows state of charge, RS485 and CAN ports support desktop monitoring software, and up to 10 batteries can be connected in parallel using the included 41 inch cables. Mount it in any orientation, with no venting or gassing.
