The Jackery FridgeGuard Battery Pack adds a second 1,024Wh LiFePO4 battery to the Jackery FridgeGuard, bringing your refrigerator backup to 2,048Wh. It connects to the FridgeGuard with one expansion cable and sits beside it, stacks with it or hangs on the wall next to it, so a longer outage doesn't have to mean a warm refrigerator.
The Battery Pack works with the Jackery FridgeGuard. It has no AC outlet of its own, so it can't power a refrigerator by itself. It is in stock and ships now, ready to pair with your FridgeGuard.
The pack holds 1,024Wh (20Ah at 51.2V), the same as the FridgeGuard itself. Together they store 2,048Wh, the maximum for a FridgeGuard system, so your refrigerator can ride out a longer outage before the batteries run low.
The included expansion cable runs from the pack's DC expansion port to the FridgeGuard's. Power both units off before connecting them. A battery pack icon on the FridgeGuard's screen confirms the connection, and the FridgeGuard then uses the pack's capacity as part of the system.
At 2.4 inches thick and about 19.8 lb, the pack matches the FridgeGuard's 23.6 x 12.8 inch footprint. Place the two side by side or stacked, stand the pack on its included vertical stands, or wall-mount it with Jackery's bracket (sold separately). For wall mounting, Jackery recommends about 16 inches (406 mm) between the FridgeGuard and the pack, both fixed to wood studs or concrete rather than drywall alone.
Like the FridgeGuard, the pack uses LiFePO4 chemistry rated for 6,000 cycles to 70% capacity, so it is built for years of everyday standby and charging.
The pack's LCD shows remaining battery percentage, input and output power, and remaining charge or discharge time. To save energy, it powers itself off after 2 hours with no charging and no load.
From the wall, the pack recharges through a connected FridgeGuard. With the Jackery DC Input Module (sold separately), it also charges at up to 500W from Jackery solar panels, or from a 12V vehicle outlet with a car charging cable (also sold separately).
| Feature | FridgeGuard Alone | FridgeGuard + Battery Pack |
|---|---|---|
| Stored Energy | 1,024Wh | 2,048Wh |
| Continuous Output | 800W | 800W |
| Peak Output | 1,600W | 1,600W |
| Combined Weight | About 23.2 lb | About 43 lb |
| Placement | One slim unit | Two slim units, side by side or stacked |
The Battery Pack adds runtime, not output. The FridgeGuard's 800W running and 1,600W peak ratings stay the same, so check that your refrigerator's startup draw fits before adding capacity.
Jackery's larger packs, such as the Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2, expand Jackery's HomePower power stations. Jackery lists the FridgeGuard Battery Pack for the FridgeGuard, so choose the pack that matches the unit you own.
One Battery Pack per FridgeGuard is the maximum, for 2,048Wh in total. If you need more storage or more outlets, our team can compare larger Jackery systems with you.
